CLUB POLICIES

By registering with and participating in the San Clemente Water Polo Club, athletes, coaches, and family members agree to abide by the following club policies:

 

CODE OF CONDUCT

By enrolling in the San Clemente Water Polo Club, athletes and parents/guardians agree to follow the guidelines detailed in our Parent/Athlete Code of Conduct, our Travel Player Code of Conduct, and our Zero Tolerance for Bullying. By joining USA Water Polo, athletes and parents/guardians agree to abide by the USA Water Polo Rules Governing Conduct as well as the Safety Policies of USA Water Polo. Failure to adhere to these guidelines, or Team Level Behavior Contracts may result in the removal of the athlete from the San Clemente Water Polo Club without recourse.

 

PARENT INFORMATION

Upon registering with USA Water Polo and with the San Clemente Water Polo Club, be sure to review the USA Water Polo Parent Handbook for essential information regarding membership, events, the game, insurance, head injuries & concussions, SafeSport practices, and helpful information for how to navigate the USA Water Polo website.

PHOTO / MEDIA RELEASE 

By registering yourself or your athlete for participation in the San Clemente Water Polo Club, you grant and authorize San Clemente Water Polo Club the right to take, edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, distribute and make use of any and all pictures or video taken of the registered athlete and/or their parents/family members by the San Clemente Water Polo Club to be used in and/or for legally promotional materials including, but not limited to, club website, Facebook page, Instagram page, newsletters, flyers, posters, brochures, advertisements, fundraising letters, annual reports, press kits and submissions to journalists, related websites, related social networking sites and other print and digital communications, without payment or any other consideration. This authorization extends to all languages, media, formats and markets now known or hereafter devised. This authorization shall continue indefinitely, unless you otherwise revoke said authorization in writing to the Club director. These materials shall become the property of San Clemente Water Polo Club and will not be returned. You hold harmless, and release San Clemente Water Polo Club from all liability, petitions, and causes of action which you, your heirs, representative, executors, administrators, or any other persons may make while acting on your behalf or on behalf of your estate.
